What is the Papertrail?
The Papertrail is Canada's foremost supplier of materials and equipment for handmade paper. We sell all the plant fibre, pulp, colourants and additives required to make paper, as well as moulds, deckles, couching felts, drying systems, and other small equipment. Although we don't stock larger equipment such as Hollander beaters, power mixers, and presses, we can supply them on request.
We also sell our own handmade and marbled papers, materials and hand tools for bookbinding and marbling, and a good selection of instructional books on papermaking, paper decorating, and bookbinding.
Our services include wet pulp preparation using our Hollander beater, studio rental by the hour,courses and workshops, custom batches of paper and envelopes, and letterpress printing on our paper.
We ship orders throughout the world, although for destinations outside Canada and the USA, shipping charges can often be as much as the cost of the merchandise.
